Survive because your English and it's all in France? Ha ha, no problem. The trick is to learn some very basic French, especially question words, if you intend to ask questions. Everyone will be very pleasant and helpful so long as you can convince them that you are more cultured, intelligent and honestly interested in French than the average anglophone tourist (who are mostly middle to upper class Americans, so it isn't that hard).

Paris, though, is kinda like it's own country. It's overwhelming simply because it's such a big city. You might need a move in-depth survival guide if you plan to go there, especially if you plan to go alone.

Edit: Oh, in the event that I am mistaken and you speak French, then you are far beyond the toughest barrier and should no trouble at all (but approach Paris with caution).
