Newest Alizée Pictures: 2010

Actually I think it follows the theme of her new album around the life of E S and as has already been stated doctoring pictures is a flash these days. It obviously is depicting the progression of Edie's mental illness and addiction to drugs. Although Alizee would look good in a tow sack and she has worn atire that looks like a tow sack in the recent and distant past which I won't go into. Neither one of these pictures are meant to be flattering. Look @ the body language in each of them. Lifeless and defeated posture. The dead look out of the eyes. Alizee is playing a role and not trying to be sexy although some are attracted to models that resemble heroin addicts these days.The most interesting thing to me about these two pictures is how doctored or not Alizee can change her appearance more than any woman I have ever seen with something as simple as minute changes in hairstyle and or wardrobe. Sometimes one of her million fantastic facial expressions is all it takes to change her appearance. Alizee the shapeshifterzee.

Always thought Lili was kinda young looking for her age, but in these latest pics it seems our girl has become a fully fledged woman and a damn hot one at that! I like!

Indeed, she was always a little chameleon and changed her appearance many times, but she has outdone herself with this.
It is her face plain out in the open, and yet i did not recognize her.

I guess Alizée working for the french secret service could infiltrate any enemy base!

I don't know if anyone has posted these pictures up yet, but here are some new ones I just found.

She has really undergone a change.

Here's what I think is going on. The new Alizée is not only post-Mylène but also post-Jérémy. She's still married to him, but he's no longer an influence on her work or her career. He has no credits in UEDS for composition or lyrics, and I believe he also has no input into her image, her promotions, or anything else outside their home life at this point.

This is a big departure, because Psychédélices was a joint venture by the two of them. Jérémy was co-producer of the album, he wrote the music for most of the songs, and he was a big presence on her concert tour as well. I did get the impression that Alizée herself directed and produced the Mademoiselle Juliette video (although Jérémy and Jean Fauque wrote that song), and it's interesting that in that video we have a few previews of the current style: it was darker, more mysterious, more nuanced and strange than the song it expressed or the overall feel of Psych, and what we've seen of UEDS follows the same pattern.

How this came about -- well, any thoughts on that would be a violation of their privacy, so I won't go there. Let's just say that the J-man seems to be gone from Alizée's public life, as opposed to her private life. She's keeping the two totally separate. He's doing his thing in music, presumably still composing for other performers, but not for her. She's doing hers.

Post-Mylène, post-Jérémy, this will be the real authentic Alizée. I'm excited to see it.

Well, she's obviously trying hard to distance herself from her old image (even more so than she did with Psych). Although it comes of as a bit pretentious, imo (I'm talking about the pics that EMMERICH posted, not the magazine shoot).
