You can do nothing... but complain.
Don't worry, you're not alone here.

It seems like all those "new fans" expect the Lili they discovered on some 5 year old YouTube video.
Well, wake up! Try to be more open to what she does NOW.
I don't say that you have to like it all, but it makes me kind of sick to see that most of you newbees
like it to split straws about everything different she does.

Don't be narrow minded and don't be cheap by just yelling "it sucks" or "that was terrible" or whatever!

If you expect her to be like she was 6 years ago: bad luck.
If it aint what you YOU want to hear or see: Find another artist to support.

What I read here lately doesn't sound like a fanbase at all!

Again you do not have to like everything she does, but I see hardly any positive critisism anymore.
Nagging, nagging and nagging. About nothing!

Sorry I sound harsh and take it not personally, but I would really like to see this forum
a litle bit more positive and open towards Lili.

I'm sorry but, to me that hardly even LOOKS like Alizée in that video.

I don't care much for the remix either, but I like the fact that it was different than most. I think the video goes well with the sound and mood of the remix and I like the overall feel of it. The lyrics don't match IMHO, but in this case I think it's OK.

Don't look at it as a major video release. Look at it as a small experimental side project done just for the fun of it. I actually like the remix a bit more, now that there is this video to go with it.

Exactly what i mean!

You are one of those who does nothing else than making stupid cheap and ignorant remarks. Grow up.
This was intended personally b.t.w.!

-edit-
Read Lefty's reply's....
Those are supported by arguments instead of the usual cheap remarks.
I wish there were more like him...

Sorry have to disagree with most here. David Rubato's remix is awesome. Turns a rather silly pop corn song like fifty-sixty into a trippy, atmospherical and moody tune. It beats the original by a mile imo. The video reminds me of some low budget heavy metal video clips. Something more creative would be welcome.

I don't see how my previous comment was "stupid", "cheap" and "ignorant". I mean, if you look at the original Fifty Sixty music video and compare it to the David Rubato remix video, I think you'd find she looks pretty different no? In no way did I mean to insult or harshly criticize Alizée.

If I had instead said, "Holy $hit this new video sucks D%#@!!". I think you would have a vaild point.

And I do like the David Rubato remix b.t.w.

Thanks for posting the correct aspect ratio. The more I watch it the more I like it. It's a matter of personal taste, I suppose. As I said before, it seems to have a touch of "David Lynchness" to it and I like that.

Alot of people are so self centered that they put down something that they simply don't understand or just doesn't fit their taste.

There are movies, songs, books, etc, that sometimes I don't understand the meaning of, or they just don't fit my preferred taste, but I don't start hating on them and complaining just because my needs weren't satisfied.

There's more than one Fifty-Sixty video and people are complaining...unbelievable. Especially considering that people who weren't turned on by the original style/tempo of Fifty-Sixty now have another option to enjoy her music. It's not only smart for business on her part, but it gives the audience a chance to see another aspect of her.

Unfortunately, some people may see it as another opportunity to not like her music.

I'm just grateful that I'm enjoying what Alizée is doing and I don't have to ask myself the dreaded question...
