Today I had a very shitty day I was having an off day at boxing practice because I was tired and I kept dropping my hands. So my teammate really took advantage of that and pounded me. My nose was bleeding and I felt kinda dizzy, almost got knocked out. Because of my crappy performance my coach doesnt want to put me in the ring for a while so I am just really upset; down and frustrated.

FRA is very said and needs a hug = (
I might have to give up my major of Aerospace Engineering and switch to an easyier major and I am just very upset. Engineering Calculus is just so hard and im not sure if I can handle it. I just got my first test back today and even though I studied hard for it; I only got a 50% I am taking two architecture classes this semester (because architecture is my back up major) and I am enjoying them a lot. So I am thinking of switching my major to architecture... and the calculus for architecture is a lot easyier than engineering calc and plus they do not have to take a physics to my knowledge. For engineering we have to take 2 heavily calculus based physic classes. The only problem with this is architecture in my school is very competitive and hard to get into since we are one of the only schools (and the only public school) in New York State to offer architecture. That goes the same for Aerospace Engineering... so either way it is not looking good for me and I am just pretty down.

*hug*
That's one very annoying calculation you got there... Whole calculus kinda sucks, even though it's really practical...

meh i used to think so, but all my friends tell me in the higher level engineering classes (if i make it there) allow you to use the Ti 200 calculator which does any derivative for you. Learning this is sorta pointless and just annoying

It's just a lot harder to put them on paper... I actually didn't bother even learning integral cause I could just do them all with calculator. Didn't work out so well in the test f(x) = x+x^.5 f'(x) = 1+0.5x^-0.5 lim(h->0) = [f(x+h)-f(x)] / h [x+h+(x+h)^0.5-x-x^0.5]/h = 1+1/x^-1/2 [h + (x+h)^0.5-x^0.5]/h = 1+1/x^-1/2 /*h h + (x+h)^0.5-x^0.5 = h+h/x^-1/2 h=0 0 + sqrt(x+0) - sqrt (x) = 0 + 0/sqrt(x) 0 = 0 true Is cheating allowed? :P

well, i'm leaving for a ftx(field training exercise) today.. and won't be back until sunday evening.
it'll be fun! repel tower, M16 qualification, night land nav, and so on. just got to be careful where i sleep though.. last time, in the dark, i ended up using a nice, soft, squishy, rotting log as a pillow. BUT that also means i have to go nearly 4 DAYS! without posting something here on the forum.. watching the angel dance.. her interviews.. and listening to her music! 4 DAYS!! i dunno if i can make it.
