which one was it?
So, just curious as to which one of Alizee's many mesmerizing performance it was that caught your attention! whether it be Moi...Lolita the song, its MV, or maybe the oh so famous JEAM dance video, etc.
for me, it was just that. the JEAM dance video served as a right hook, then followed rapidly by La Isla Bonita as the finishing uppercut.

I have a better question.
Could any of her performances from Psychédélices have mesmerized you; and eventually make you a fan?

La Isla Bonita was the very first performance I ever saw of Alizée.
Been a fan ever since.

But in terms of performances, I kind of liked the way she danced around to Decollage in Aguascalientes. Very cute. Or maybe when she did Moi Lolita in Moscow. Psychedelices. My personal favorite of the three. Any of the songs will be awesome with or without the dancing. |

Edit: Oh yeah and the exact moment I was hooked was when she did the two finger wave thing where she goes up and down back and forth (i call it the pokemon move because it reminds me of the shit that the pokemon did on the show with their fingers) i think it hypnotized me

La isla bonita and Il jouait du piano debout. From the new era Adelaide (if that counts) and the live acoustic TV5 Monde.

Lolita, so the first way Alzée caught my attention... I guess that's the right answer

The FIRST image I had ever, ever seen of Alizée...
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/066_q4DIeqk&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/066_q4DIeqk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> I was like....... yea.... so naturally I had to look her up and the first true video I had seen was Moi Lolita.

J'en ai marre was the first video I saw (well, not a video per se, as it was one of those live performances), so that definitely led me to finding out even more about her ... However, Mademoiselle Juliette was what started to get me really hooked. I loved her personality throughout the video. And I just recently saw the À contre-courant video and, wow, I can't get enough of it. I love the flow of the song, but I also just love how she looks in it, from her smiles, to her walk to her mannerisms in general. So, all three of those videos had a significant role. |

My first one didn't come with an image. It was just a voice on the radio and a boy with no computer or YouTube.
