Aye - last week. What can I say? If anyone's fortunate enough to go there, the scale, depth and sheer vastness of the place is nearly overwhelming. I count myself lucky. Dictionary's do not describe 'humility' like this.

I cannot agree more. I was there recently on a trip to France and, like you, was astounded by the absolute enormity of the place. It's somewhat eerie in its vastness. If I find some pictures of the Louvre on my camera, I'll try to upload them.

Yay! I managed to upload some of the pictures that my family and I took while we were there.




Don't blame me for the tilted horizon.


I was shocked by how huge some of the paintings were, especially when the time in which they were painted is taken into consideration.
