Been one of my favorites for a long time (CS is my favorite band). I saw the Rolands play an acoustic set for a Darfur benefit in Portland about 2 years ago now, it was great. The best part was when they played 'Shine' and everyone in the audience knew when to say "YEAH" right before the chorus .

I've been to two concerts in my life: Alphaville and Collective Soul. Now, Collective Soul is a good band, but hardly earth shattering. The concert, however, was absolutely awesome. I can only imagine going to a concert of a truly legendary artist/band... seems to me like it would be a religious experience of sorts. Especially if it was in France, say, and ...

Collective Soul is a good band and I own a couple of their albums, but they always seemed like a watered down Nirvana or Pearl Jam to me. "Shine" is still a great song, although the Virginia Tech massacre has made that song a little difficult to listen to for me.
